| Went to the Pub last night due to comments left by others on this site and wasn't disappointed. The service was excellent, the waiters very attentive, and the food was of a very good standard and exceeded our expectations. High recommended. Oh the beer was also very good with two choices from local brewer Bill King. Two other hand pumps were turn around so I guess that four can be on at one time. inkywebber - 10 Aug 2008 11:33 |
| Went there with friends 4th July - they had been previous and recommended it. All that has been said in blogs is true. Extensive menu with staff who really wanted to please and serve. Yes, it was very quiet - maybe the musicians who (tried to) play from 9.30ish drove away the regulars. Nice pint of Ace of Ales - new beer to me. kaktus - 7 Jul 2008 11:21 |
| We took two friends here 2 days ago, and the service was excellent and very attentive. It was a Friday, and surprisingly quiet, but the restaurant was impeccably clean, and the food just as we'd ordered. It has a big car park, but this is a few yards north, and there are spaces opposite the pub - a good idea. We'll go again, and highly recommend it. colasprite - 11 May 2008 20:09 |
