It's OK for what it is, better than some station bars I can think of, possibly too remote for the usual low life such places attract.

Give this place a very wide berth. Beer was dismal and atmosphere non-existant. Run away and do it quickly. Wetherspoons in the staion isn't much better but go there for a quick one instead of here, if You are waiting for that delayed train.

Not really a pub atmosphere, and 'only' Abbott and Greene King IPA on draft, but it's a convenient location, it's clean, the staff are friendly and there's food on. So 7/10.

Came here with a friend at lunchtime (24 Oct) for a quick drink following my KFC meal in soulless Victoria Place. It was virtually empty and therefore we were rightly served promptly. No pungent smell of booze either like the nearby Duke of York! Important, as I cannot let my new employers think I am an alcoholic with my clothes smelling of booze when I return to the office just jet!

A pint of coke and a Jack Daniels & coke came to £3.95, so make what you want from that about prices if anything. I found this place quite warming and the décor palpably smarter that the Wetherspoons downstairs. Useful also to have a few televisions showing the excellent Sky Sports News as well, especially as the gorgeous Vicky Gomersall was on! I would certainly come here again if in this part of the station at lunchtime.

Lovely pub, relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff, rarely gets too busy, cosy, wicked food, good selection of drink, bit pricey but this is central London, what do you expect?
