Horrible place. Parked beside kitchen door, was going to eat there but disgusting smell comeing from kitchen door put us off and the place looked filthy. went to pub next door and had great food. on returning to our car a man with a beer glass in his hand and under the influence started ranting and raving about how he was going to clamp our car etc. if this guy is the licence holder then that was pretty poor behaviour

Had a fine pint here but I'm affraid to glum staff and clientele persuaded me not to make a further purchase. They all had face's as long as the A9 and made me feel most unwelcome. In these times of financial problems I'd have thought they'd have made a better effort to hang to passing / tourist trade.

I usually start a review with a comment about the beer. However, I will get to that later. The landlord of this pub is an offensive and unlikeable individual with some serious "Napolionic" personality complex.

The beer on the other hand is probably the best kept in the area. The Taylor Landlord was on a par to anything I've tasted elsewhere in the country - its a shame that there was not a local ale to tase when visiting.

Food for five of my party ranged from outstanding to inedible.

The area in general is expensive, and I live in London, but I accept that this is a tourist area. However, I am not in the habit of travelling the best part of 13 hours for a holiday to have a stand up row with an ignorant and ungrateful landlord who chose to pick a fight with my party. I can do that for nothing at the end of my road. As the local in the pub said to me "he is probablty the biggest a**e in Findhorn".

Only go here if you enjoy an argument. We waited an hour and a half for our meals (the restaurant was not busy), were told off for being too noisy while we were waiting (we weren't) and of the 5 meals served only 2 of were of a good standard - 2 were overcooked or reheated and 1 was severely oversalted. Our complaints were ignored by waiting staff and cook but illicited an aggressive and personnally insulting response from the landlord. Other diners reported similar problems and locals tell us that the landlord is well known for his poor attitude to customers. You are much better off in the Kimberly Inn across the road.

If I want to watch T.V. and listen to people talking about Soaps or Football I`ll go again.
