| This is a hotel based bar in the middle of the town. The bar which is located to the right of the restaurant is quite small but to it's credit sells local Conwy beer; Welsh Pride, Beachcomber Blond and Rampart. All were very pleasant but rather bland. The beers could have been colder. Even though there was a restaurant, almost everybody on the bar was eating. Food was very expensive and even the beer was the dearest in the town. | I nearly didn't come here so would have missed one of the few places serving local beer!! They had Conwy's Honey Fare 4.5% and Gold 'N Delicious 3.8% which was very nice. It is a posh Hotel Bar and so was surrounded by diners but was glad I had found some local stuff reasonably kept. JBGatelad - 23 Jun 2009 21:07 |
