| Good pub this but teh wrong end of the high street for me to stagger home from. Nice atmosphere and good music. The beer and staff are great as well unfortunately I don't want to fight through the gangs of pikeys on my way home of a night so the Hob is a Sunfay afternoon drink for me if I get up to that end of Staines. | Love going here as the music, clientele and bar staff are all good. Things have certainly got cleaner over the past couple of months as well, can no longer smell the mens as you walk in! Bar service is quick, never had to wait too long to be served, which is good as its frustrating being invisible. My male friends say the Ale is good, and I like the fact that you can sit outside with a drink in the smoking area under cover and with a heat lamp. If you're after a clinical bar then this isnt the place for you, maybe try Baroosh or Que Pasa, but if you enjoy a good atmosphere and a wide range of friendly people then definately give it a go. jackolou - 16 Jan 2010 21:13 |
