| Had a Christmas Lunch here on Saturday. The food was fantastic and the service was excellent. The landlady was was very friendly and had in fact come in specially on her day off to look after us. Will certainly visit again when back in the area. visitingscotsman - 20 Dec 2010 08:38 |

| Have just read the last comment and would like to say "cobblers"!! The Red lion is a friendly pub and I've not once had a flat beer. The landlady is a friendly, chatty person and tries to make everyone feel welcome. The food is great and reaonably priced. Havent seen any villians yet, well, none that have admitted to it!! All in all a friendly pub, with pool table, Juke box etc....and NO FIGHTS!! unlike some of the pubs in town...I can only wonder if Smurfaroo who left the last comment had been banned or had a bad hair day!!! dippydon - 6 Nov 2006 13:52 |
