| Lovely pub, tracing its history back to 1752. One side of the street looks like it ready for demolition but Mulligans stands on the sunny side of the street. Traditional and my dublin based colleagues said its one of the best in the City. Mappiman - 23 Apr 2019 10:41 |
| Good old school Dublin bar near Tara Street station. As with must city centre bars a bit pricey E 5.20 for a mediocre pint of Smithwicks. | Fantastic old pub, comprising two separate buildings - one with a very traditional facade under the name 'John Mulligan' and the other with art deco windows and 'Lounge Bar' above and below the doorway. Inside, there are two dark and plainly-furnished bars, plus a back room with a roof light, all retaining a huge amount of character. Apart from its Guinness reputation and all the usual Irish beers, it also offers a rare outing for McArdles Ale (4.45 Euro). One of Dublin's 'must visit' pubs. rpadam - 5 Sep 2010 18:08 |
