Not a huge fan of Shepherd Neame beers but, that said, on my first visit found this to be a quiet (Sunday afternoon) pub, with friendly locals. Very nice.

keeps the beer well but other pubs in Greenwich manage this. Landlord was bad and the service terrible if you are a stranger to them. do not go on Tuesday as the place turns into some sort of Music Quiz hell.

Bottom line is there are much better pubs in the area.

This pub is pretty close to perfection, I cant comment about the food, because as yet I haven't eaten there. The service is fantastic, the beer is well kept, its relaxing, comfortable, great ambience, they have a garden front and rear for the summer, I would recommend it to anyone.

Went there on Friday with my 7 yr old daughter. Beer was superb, and service good. Children very welcome. The pizza's were maybe not pizzeria std, but my American Hot was actually that, a pleasent change for most pub pizzas. Lovely local

Always make a point of visiting this pub when visiting the area (by far the best real ale pub that we have found here over a considerable number of years). Serves easily the best pint of Master Brew that I have recently experienced -taste-wise the most reminiscent of the magnificent old heavily dry-hopped ale of many decades ago (why can't other Shepherd Neame pubs get the Master Brew tasting this good despite the brewery for some years now having changed to only lightly dry-hopping the brew?). Superb landlord recommended us to a very good establishment in the area (The Hill) for an excellent Sunday dinner (missed the good value Sunday lunch here) - many thanks - see you again soon.
