lately this pub has went right downhill, cads {aka the hole },has a mixture of workers and the dregs of society.they have a sleeping competion for all the drunks who drink there and use it as a park bench.

This pub is notorious for having the cheapest beer in the surrounding area, but there is a price to pay for your stinginess. Only really serves the bog standard lagers and is frequented by a mixture of the great unwashed and confused hotel patrons who are looking to quickly finish their drinks and leave.

It's really a case of 'spot the woman' in here too and I can imagine it being quite uncomfortable to sit in if you're a lady. Avoid unless you're a student. Have seen regulars verbally abusing each other and the bar maids here before, and they're all even angrier that they have to walk up some stairs to smoke now. This pub is hidden away for a reason.

A 'spark' friend of mine told me about this place and said that it served the cheapest breakfasts and pints in London. 1.90 a pint for Becks, San Miguel, Krone etc you're having a laugh, this is cheaper that wetherspoons! If i were in the area and there was a match on I would definitely have a few cheap beers here.

It is good value for money, maybe the cheapest pub in London, spoiled by the halfwit behind the bar.

It's like a dungeon. The manageress is a dragon, and the other bloke who works there is a clown short of a circus. It's worse now you can't smoke, as your not allowd to take your pint outside, which, by the way, you have to go upstairs to have a fag. It may be cheap, but you get what you pay for. Atleast in The Sussex Arms, it's a little more expensive, still cheap mind at 2.10 a pint, but atleast you don't have to leave your pint unattended when going for a smoke. It's a crappy little poxy pub with no atmosphere
