| I'm not a local but was in the area for a couple of days and visited The Inn on the Green in the evening of Monday 7th July 2014. I found exactly the opposite to some of the critical reviews. The barman served a great pint of zesty blonde which went down very nicely as I sat reading the paper. There was a nice buzz about the pub and the music was really good and varied. For a Monday evening there were quite a few people in there - some playing darts, some at the bar and others just sitting and chatting.
