| When i lived in Folkestone i was a regular of the Red Cow for years and always found it to be a great place with a good landlord and landlady and the regulars was a good bunch to. How times can change, i visited the pub over xmas for the first time in years and was rather gob smacked with what i found a few of the faces i used to know was present but there seamed a bit of an air of sadness in the place and not what i was expecting. I was sad to see the look on a lot of the faces, (this reccesion has got a lot to answer for) still on the bright side the beer was excellent the place was as warm as toast and the bar staff was great.
