| Certainly the best real ale pub in town. Now under new ownership. Prices are low. The toilets in the beirut bar are still a must see.Dont forget to shower before you leave them. | Still has good juke box (probably only the Rose Tavern has a better one in town), but this pub lost my regular Friday night custom when they ditched the pool table. The quality of the beer can sometimes suffer due to the lack of customers and you always feel that you have had one "out the pipe" even though it could be early evening.
