I'm a regular at this place, been going for around 10 years. It's just recently aquired a refurbishment & a new manager who's doing a wonderful job. There's the usual Rock nights on Monday, Friday & Saturday, live music on Thursdays & a quiz on Tuesdays. The best pub in Lancaster! jedimaster_666 - 13 Jan 2008 20:24
Steady, unspectactular pub that has seen many an upgrade but is still a shadow (in business and stylistic terms) of what it was in the late 80s, early 90s. Music is generally far too loud. Yorkiephil - 27 Dec 2007 08:52

Great pub. Different, but lively and friendly. Cosy in winter too. Good selection of beers, ciders etc, and a pool table in a proper pub building. Pint_size - 16 May 2007 21:58
Lots of character and decent live music; good beer range but quality very average as with much of Lancaster mtaylor40 - 19 Feb 2007 23:57
