| A bit of a disappointment compared with the other places I visited in Lancaster over Xmas...only two mainstream-ish ale handpulls and a definate lack of atmosphere. | I have lived in London for 10 years but this pub was always a favourite but then it depended upon the landlord at the time. I also worked there for a little while. There is nothing so bad as real ale drinkers with their cords and beards and their moaning about the head on the beer!!
