| We were very disappointed when we went out of our way to visit this 2009 GBG pub. The service was slow, they got our food order wrong, the foreign waiter made Fawlty Towers' Manuel seem competent, and the Copper Dragon Golden Pippin was luke warm because the elderly barmaid didn't pull some ale through the pipes before she pulled our beer. | On our recent visit to The New Inn Clapham we were not disapointed. Guiness and guest ales delicious. Food looked good but we didnt partake as dining times limited. Shame. Found nice local B&B/Cafe 'Brook house'to fill the gap We've visited this pub on a number of occasions at different times of the year and each visit has been very enjoyable - we are looking forward to the next! jackieandsteven - 26 Sep 2005 20:54 |
