Exceptional smart but pleasant pub, not out of place in Manchester's Northern Quarter. Good, sensible beer range, and particularly liked the imported German beer (Augsberg). Chinese across the road is good too. mtaylor40 - 9 Jul 2011 12:26
Liked this pub, small but cosy,. Beer very good. No music but a real fire in the Winter. nightowl51 - 25 May 2008 12:34
Marvellous pub. Terrific range of ales and whiskies. Has to be unique in not being turned into a gastro pub after being renovated. No chavs, no music, no food and no kids, a truly civilised way to enjoy an evening sampling their ales. jsp - 30 Jul 2007 16:21
This was a real treat to go in a pub with real ales in abundance no music or the sound of awps in the back ground also after speaking to the Manager he told me the pub has over 90 malt whiskys also to add to its splender only Beligum beer is sold on draught by the end of the evening it came apparent it was a Tom Woods public house then it all came clear this is a company that is brewing the best beers around Lincolnshire. Keep up the good work Mr Wood M Kirby - 27 Jan 2005 15:46
