Nice little pub in picturesque setting. Squeezed me in for good dinner despite being fully booked. Good beer.

Really well-kept real ales, and excellent food. We had honeyed lamb, whisky prawns, chickpea curry and mushroom spagetti, which were all exceptional. Very friendly little place (although a bit hard to find as it's off the beaten track - you pass it if you travel from Penrith through Askham to Haweswater Lake).
