please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.

Going to this pub is now the closest approximation to actually visiting Bodh Gaya itself anywhere in Rawdon ! Try to make eye contact with the Buddha while waiting for a pint of quite reasonable beer... If a pint is poured in a pub and no-one wants to drink it, has it actaully been pulled ?

These reviews are well out of date. I take my mother there for a meal as I nice change as I like the menu as it is not all the usual 2 for 1, so it is noice as a treat. It has never been cold and the food and service has always been good

Visited recently and the pub was actually quite warm with a good fire (albeit artificial!) blazing away.
Didn't try the food, though the beer was good.
Was one of the first pubs I used to visit 30 years or so ago when I lived in the area when it was a Tetley's house. Now M&B owned like many others and has been refurbished extensively over the years. Staff were friendly on the last visit. Overall not a bad experience to be fair.

I ate there once, never again! The place was freezing as they didn't turn on the heating until the pub opened (it was sunday) The food was poor and the staff were moving furniture around us while we ate.
Dreadful!
