| well this pub has applyed for late licence hour, But guess what they ask you to leave early and take the drinks out of your hand, As i live close to the Railway it's only a convinence that i go there, If there was other places close by i would rather go there. i rate this pub 2 out of 10 ian_f - 28 Feb 2006 23:14 |

| This large pub is part of the Ember Inns chain. If it was in Watford it would be dire, however the spirit of the north west has given this boozer as much character as you can wring from a flat pack interior of this type. We visited last weekend and had good food (everything from salads to pie and chips), nicely kept Charles Wells Bombardier and the place was pretty lively of a Saturday night.
