| OK OK It isn't the best olde worlde inn serving multiple Real Ales. BUT It's clean, tidy and has reasonable food. Nothing to write home about (no haute cusine) but service is good and, in my experience, prompt. Food is also reasonably good value (i.e. 2 meals for £10). Having lived and worked in the are for the best part of 6 years and having visited many nearby establishments where you seldom get change of £20 for a fairly basic meal the place is pretty reasonable in my experience. anonymous - 9 Oct 2006 17:09 |
| This is a grotty modern pub that is next to a tesco's car park. It is frequented by the only kind of folk who have less imagination than the interior designer who shot his muck on the walls. Although you can buy two meals for £10 but be under no illusion they are made from the tesco value range. anonymous - 31 Mar 2006 13:09 |
