very good venue for the lads just £1 in the glass gets you a 20min lapdance from the land lady and a copy of the latest east peckham parish news land lady works very hard and I would not hesitate to recommend this venue to any stag party thanks mark oasis limos viscount - 8 Sep 2011 12:27
Pleasant to sit outside in the sun (too tall to fit inside comfortably) with frontage to the stream which goes under the bridge here, Lots of tame chub to amuse you Various guest ales of varying quality .. Cannot speak for food as not eaten here.... In all, not bad helped of course by its unique setting kisstaker - 25 Apr 2011 10:41
Went in here for first time yesterday. First thing the struck me, literally, was the low beams. If you're 6' or over forget this pub unless you want to walk around hunched over. Food quite good although it's the smallest piece of fish i've ever had with fish n chips before. Chips were excellent though and nicely presented. Not too many real ales on when we visited so I plumped for a pint of Amstel which is one of the few lagers I can drink. £7 for a Malibu and pineapple and a pint is not cheap though. Would probably not visit again as so many better in the area. meland - 24 Jan 2010 07:52
I went on the afternoon of the beer festival. I didnt use all my beer tokens so I asked if I could change them back. The landlord was very shirty. I did get my money back in the end. Just something to watch here. Tobias10 - 19 Aug 2009 07:49
Now changed hands yet again, Neal and Laurence have the pub running smoothly with fantastic food in a traditional pub setting. chrismm - 24 Dec 2007 12:04
