Love this place, great Ale staff always attentive. Hate to pass without going in. nivramkram - 22 Jul 2011 19:45
Called in today by chance. Warm reception from both waiting and bar staff, very friendly. Cracking pint of Blue Monkey's BGTips. 5 other RAs on. Music playing quietly, TVs showing England exit from the cricket WC. LickeyEndBooze - 26 Mar 2011 18:52
Re-opened a few months ago. Serves six real ales which are usually in very good nick although the selection can be a little mundane at times. Gets busy with food orders (and coffee drinkers!). On the whole tho' a decent addition to the real ale scene. MOGWIE - 26 Dec 2010 11:24
A decent pint of Oakham JHB and at £2.30 (with 20p CAMRA discount) I don't count that as expenesive these days. cobbo - 1 Sep 2010 13:47
Thought it was quite expensive, though beer quality was great. Sauron - 10 Jul 2010 00:59
