Quirky pub with interesting decor, service good, food so so, nothing special, but overall not a bad little place.... Will return

Proper backstreet local pub with decent pub food and the best beer garden in Windsor for the summer. Good relaxed atmosphere and decent buzz at the weekends. Wish there were more pubs like this.

Nice pub shame about the member of staff who answers to Bubbles, very rude about people when she thinks they aren't looking.

It is certainly out of the way! I thought this pub would be right up my street with it's quirkyness, and it certainly is that, but the beer was only so so and the service poor. The clientelle seemed mostly interested in themselves in a hippy chic sort of way. By the time we got there my partners palate was jaded so she wanted a vodka and tonic the charge for this greatly lightened my wallet. Dissapointing

Yes, a great litte pub, especially in the past couple of years! Very quirky with all its antique-shop curios, old furniture & knick-knacks, and old Windsor memorabilia in the nooks & crannies! And the sofa, carpets, and cane-chairs on the terrace & garden are very comfy! Street parking nearby is getting worse, unfortunately! Real ales limited to ubiquitous London Pride and usu. just one guest ale, but the calm atmosphere on quiet afternoons - and the upbeat buzz on Friday nights - make this a good place in Windsor to meet up with friends!
