| Tend to agree with buzzy. This place is certainly NOT expencive. You get a good portion for a reasonable price. My advice - Have a starter and a pud, or a main. Not too many can manage all three courses, and this includes the local farmers. Admams and Abbot are the main real beers on offer and they are kept very well indeed. The Staff are very friendly and helpful too. Further advice - If you want a juke box, pool table or Sky Sports, don't bother. You won't like it here. Phantom_Pigeon - 26 Aug 2008 17:22 |
What a loverly place ! I don't agree with the comment about it being overpriced, I have absolutely no problem paying a little extra for FRESH homemade food, last weekend i went there with my partner and we had a loverly meal that including drinks come to £24 , to me that is very reasonably priced. If you are looking for your £5 beer/burger/chips deal then this is NOT the place to come. I do agree with the poster that said people here are friendly and there is never any riff raff in there that i have ever seen, seems to be a mix of country folk mixed with middle class towns people. I have given this place a 9 out of 10, by far the one of the best in my area, but then again the more you venture out into the sticks the better these places tend to get. buzzy - 26 Mar 2008 14:32 |

| Food was great & more than enough was served.. The place has a real family feel & the staff went out of their way to be friendly. A lovely, cosy, oak beamed pub which I'd definitely go back to, I can imagine the outside would be lovely on a hot summer's day too. NWLondon_Girl - 25 Jun 2007 13:39 |
