| If you want a Pub , try the Old House , the Golding Hop or the Padwell. If you want a very nice lunch and someone else is paying the Chaser works. Not a Pub for beer drinlers. It is an out and out gastro pub and it does it well Sessionmaster - 2 Sep 2011 08:07 |
| What a surprise! After a gap of twenty years, we returned here to find a smart, clean friendly gastro pub with friendly and courteous bar staff. The bangers & mash were excellent as was the Hardy & Hansons bitter. We sat in the quiet conservatory and chatted whilst reading the newspapers provided. | Fantastic gastro pub with nice garden and several areas to sit, will alow the dog at the front bar. Gets really busy in the evening so if your eating I would book. Food of late has not been as good as it used to be but the staff as ever are friendly and welcoming. Also a good spot to go walking from. taylor1982 - 13 Aug 2010 12:44 |
