| Reasonable enough villlage local with 4 ales on (though nothing 'spectacular'). The St Austell Tribute was nice enough. Has a few little sections and is dog friendly. If you like dog friendly pubs fine - am not a fan of them myself which was pretty much exemplified by someone having to take their pooch outside while I was there because it was wiping it's arse on the floor. | Situated on the old stage coach road from Welwyn to Hitchen, this is a popular ancient inn with a number of attractive features. There are various paper money notes pinned to the beams and pewter tankards hanging from the ceiling. The place has a distinct local feel, quite down to earth, almost like a working men's club.
