| An Adnams pub serving a full range of Adnams ales but the staff mostly students wish they were somewher else which is a shame and are concerned with discussing their active social life outside the pub. | Nice pub, sympathetically done up, with a good range of well kept ales on tap, and an interesting selection of food. Non-existent ringing of the time bell to signal the mid-afternoon closing of the pub caused the bar staff to become rather impatient when we understandably didn't leave immediately. Bar staff generally gave the impression that they wanted to be somewhere else – which is coincidentally where I will be next time I fancy a pint. deho - 15 Aug 2005 10:22 |
