Went there last weekend beer pricey 320p for Broadside..can wait a while before getting served due to staff not bothered to get off thier backsides.

An Adnams pub serving a full range of Adnams ales but the staff mostly students wish they were somewher else which is a shame and are concerned with discussing their active social life outside the pub.
Beers are great and food too but the staff are a letdown. There is a garden outside in the Summer its quite packed.

Beautiful interior, with amazing artworks and photography. Frendly Staff and good food and drink. Great place to go to for a drink or two. Frendly and helpful owner who likes to oversee the workings of his bar are up to good standards.

Staff not up to much.
Tried to be a bit fancy with the food and full of counil employees from up the road

Nice pub, sympathetically done up, with a good range of well kept ales on tap, and an interesting selection of food. Non-existent ringing of the time bell to signal the mid-afternoon closing of the pub caused the bar staff to become rather impatient when we understandably didn't leave immediately. Bar staff generally gave the impression that they wanted to be somewhere else – which is coincidentally where I will be next time I fancy a pint.
