Very close to the city but very out the way - if that makes sense. You need to know its here, otherwise you wouldn't find it by accident.

Quirky interior - with split level seating, with the bar down low. Table football, nick nacks and jukebox. Friendly locals. Not every pub you enter and are immediately asked if you like "Roller Skating".

Friendly ,Pleasant little new town bar tucked away in side lane .

Decent draught beer , great cheap jukebox and table football. And a nice beer garden . can get very busy and as its a small shop that can be a bit uncomfortable as their isnt a huge amount of seating .

Like it though .

Seems to have changed little since my student days. A nice little bar, nicely tucked away. I enjoyed revisiting it.

Nice little bar this. The interior is a shrine to all the good things in music with posters, sleeves, magazines, etc., plus an imaginative jukebox. Although I didn't stay as long as I would have liked all the indications were that later on in the evenings this becomes an interesting and lively boozer, much loved by it's regulars. Nice beers, attentive service, the most memorable bar I'd visited whilst in the Stockbridge area.

Still my real home, despite being 350 miles away.
