| The Rowan Tree is a small pub located in a back street of this small town. It is nextdoor to the Tunnocks factory, manufacturer of the famous tea cakes. The interior is worth venturing in for. It has a long bar, with real fires at either end and a couple of side rooms. It was very sparsely populated on my midweek lunchtime visit. Doom Bar was the real ale.
