Now closed, a really sad thing to have happened. It leaves your more discerning drinker with little choice other than to venture outside of Fallowfield.

Crikey what a pub!

A delightful array of different ales at hand, all brewed by Beartown Brewery. A variety of bottled ciders and lagers can also be purchased if the need arises. The decor resembles a cave but then you don't go for a pint and stare at the walls.

Clientele tend to be toffs or students who (on the whole) don't appreciate fine ale and after a moments gaze, wonder mindlessly back out onto the busy high street in search of a pint of wanky lager.

Lovely staff, live music on occasions and fantastic ale. Best ale house in Fallowfield.

With its strange opening hours & lack of custom,it would appear to have little going for it.However the beers very good(Congleton brewery),it does decent continental lagers & the bar staff have ben very helpful whenever I`ve been in.....Contradictions abound!
