As stated by the previous reviewer, this bar is now known as "Vodka Revolution".

The name is a clue that you can expect to find vodka based drinks of various types, along with cocktails; lager and wine. Whether it is the drink that gives you a bad head or the loud intrusive music it remains to be seen. Not my first choice, but popular with younger crowds, stag & hen nights and parties. Has kept afloat for a few years now in an area where others have failed. Maybe it's just me who can't see the attraction ?

Now a vodka revolution.

Vodka range is absolutely huge and theres a cocktail list with all the favourites plus a few specials. Nice outdoor terrace with great views over the river. Food is served at lunchtime, burgers, steaks, sandwiches etc...

Evenings it transforms into a bar/club atmosphere with a DJ playing chart/indie music.

Toilets are often filthy, stench of vomit is overpowering some nights too.

No longer Bar 38, is renamed Revolution. Expensive drinks and loud and clattery but nice on a summer Sunday lunchtime when they have a live sax & guitar on the outdoor terrace. Ok during the day but mental at night when it's packed with young folk. Takes ages to get served sometimes (don't know about the food) loos are clean but badly lit.

I banged my head on those awful low lights and got a rollocking from the staff. I'm a complete short-arse, so if I do it again, I'll sue the useless bastards. Honestly, if the staff have such a problem with me banging my head on them RAISE THEM FOR CHRIST'S SAKE! I'm five-foot-feck-all, don't whinge at me for standing up, sort it out!

They have a good variety of vodka flavours though. Although the staff appear stupid at least they appear Yorkshire.. (just being English is a bonus these days).
