Hosts a quiz every Sunday night from 8.30pm - very well attended between 6 and 12 teams regularly appear, including the notorious 'Cash For Questions'.
Quiz masters rotate and they're always looking for new ones. No entry fee - prizes are in beer. Food available includes the 'Quiz Combo' which could prove addictive.

Beers OK - Abbot and IPA plus some unusual guest beers

Usual boring GK beers tempered by some interesting guest ales. Good reasonably priced food, a rarity for the city.

Absolutely nothing wrong with this place, beer Greene King well kept and served by decent staff, welcoming sort of place. However, for anyone who can remember the Golden Star of old it's difficult not feeling just a little disappointed!

Popped in on another of my visits to Norwich, staying at the nearby Premier Inn. Pleased to say nothing has changed except the credit crunch beating Green King IPA at £1.99 is 50p cheaper! An excellent pub.

Greene King pub. Stay away. Used to be one of the few Norwich boozers that sold real ale in th 70s and 80s, but now look at it.
