| Awful. Poor selection of beers (and expensive for the area), the barman would not shut up about the refurbishment - hinted at a large selection of pies to shortly be available (currently only available food was a load of pork scratching crumbs on the bar - at least that's what I hoped they were. | Only came in to get a meal, which is standard pub fare and reasonable quality. The choice of real ale was uninspiring - Greene King IPA or Bombadier at £3 per pint. Very quiet on a Saturday night when the other village pub was busy. inbiber - 30 Oct 2008 23:03 |
