| I noticed three or four weeks ago that The Fox was not only closed but thoroughly boarded up - doors, windows etc. It looked terminal. Imagine my surprise last night (02.06.2011) when I witnessed a full car park and customers spilling out onto the patio ! There was music and possibly a BBQ on the go. I was walking the dog without so much as a penny in my pocket otherwise I would have steered the dog pubward for a gander. | Any watering hole must be appealing after a long, exhaustive walk from Brookwood station. No - the Fox is not too bad but it is no great shake. You will not be highly delighted or deeply disappointed – it is one of these places. Not much character – especially in the soulless restaurant. Service was very friendly but food and drink definitely over-priced for this area. Buy a drink and enjoy your own sandwiches outside!! kaktus - 8 Apr 2009 20:38 |
