| Lovely pub and love the military feel to the place (pics on the walls), really stands out and we should all be proud to have a pub like this that recognizes these good people Friendly locals and staff, not mega packed but comfortably busy on a sat night and a good laugh for sure, look about for a guy wearing a dress and other odd bits of fancy dress for no real reason well funny and hes a good laugh peterc_drs - 1 Mar 2008 10:54 |
| ignore the post by yorts, theres no peril with entering this pub and the paras left aldershot in 2000, although still visited by old regulars, any one is welcome. a total variety here.. although the pub still has a military theme and is now owned by ex para. he has refurbshed and it looks fantastic, a real old fashioned local, not like these comercial pubs you find in town. a great place to drink with plenty of friendly characters, watch out for james the mad scots man (hilarious) and mad one tracey ( equally amusing). hotinpink - 28 Jul 2007 19:05 |
