Friendly family run pub close to the football ground with a pool table, 2-3 ales on tap and well-priced pub grub available. There is a car park at the pub but those driving might wish to use the pay and display car park over the road. Cars get damaged in Aldershot esp. during footbal;l days/nights. Voted local pub of the year in 2010, the Crimea has been refurbished in recent years and has a good reputation and I was made very welcome by the locals. Landlord should sell beer in jugs as well as straight pints would be my whinge, thats all - the ales fine and the newly decorated pub is fine. I would return but other than the footie then Aldershot doesn't hold much for me. Has there been anyone famous or useful from Aldershot?

This pub has recently been voted "Best Pub in Aldershot" in the local newspaper. Interior has been updated in 2010 and the log fire has now been re-introduced. There are often 2-3 ales on tap including 6X, Hobgoblin, Hogs Back TEA, and Tribute amongst others. There are often theme nights too with karaoke most Fridays, quiz nights every Wednesday and pool and darts matches on other days. The occaisional Beer and Cider Festivals are also taking place.

IMHO, I hope this pub will make it into the next edition of the Good Beer Guide.

New landlord is reintroducing real ale - the Tribute and 49er were quite superb on my last recent visit. Well worth popping in.

Much improved recently, a lot cleaner and more pleasant pub than it used to be.

Normally two real ale on along with good selection of lagers and ciders.

Nearest pub to Aldershot football ground so can be busy on match days.
