Chris, Mike & Vikki are very welcoming and have done a great job getting the white hart back on track. The beer tastes better than ever, the atmosphere in the pub is so nice and the food is freshly cooked and tastes amazing! well worth a visit/revisit!

Popped in for Sunday lunch, it was a little quiet, but the staff were all very friendly, welcoming and attentive. Good selection of ales, I had the local Hogs Back Brewery Tea which was very good. They were serving a full roast, but we spotted on the specials board a partridge, mushroom and bacon pie which sounded interesting, and it turned out to be fantastic. More meat than I've seen in a pie in any restaurant in ages, very tasty, perfectly cooked veg, and really nice crispy roast spuds. Well worth a visit and highly recommended.

New owners have gone in and so far the place looks good. Keeping the real ale going in the pub and re-introducing food 12-3 and 5-9 with roast dinners 12-4 on a Sunday.
Good luck to Chris, Vikki and Mike - hope you can bring the customers back to the pub and get it back to the heart of the village it once was.

A little disappointed with it really... the ale ( St Austell Tribute) was okay and the pub had numerous rooms in the style f one of those 30's M & B houses. Was just a little perturbed by the ale choice - Hop Back Summer Lightning, Banks Mild, Youngs Bitter and St A Tribute would not be my choice of ales. Still better than other establishments in the environs.
