| Last time I went in there within 2 mins some old drunk accosted me (this was 19.00). He told me a string of vile racist "jokes" which the lad serving behind the bar thought hilarious. | As a local now of a few years, what a great pub. The landlord and landlady are very friendly. The pub does a lot for charity, and it's current project is raising money for the Jethro Field Memorial Fund, which will buy new play equipment for the nearby Broadwater Park. Good Luck to all taking part in events, and please pop down and support- the next event, Charity Cricket Match at Farncombe CC, Broadwater Park, Friday 14th September. 5pm onwards.
