The positives are many fold in this Pub. A fine music pub with excellent jike box, four beers when i visited plus Thatcher's cider as mentioned by 'BitterShurn.' Choices included the Inveralmond house beer which was superb (suspect the same brew as Inveralmond Dunnotar at the Marine Hotel in Stonehaven). However, Hebridean Gold was off which was a shame. The barman persevered with the beer though and offered me a taste with no discernable improvement that I could see. Still, well worth seeking out and one of the better Pub's in Aberdeen. ahscum - 25 Jul 2011 21:03
Good pub down by the ferry port. Raven, Thrappledouser, Thatcher's Heritage and Mooring's Ale on pump. Two other pumps were off. It has an uncompromising heavy metal theme. This doesn't seem to have deterred the conservative gentleman lunchtime drinker. A sign on the toilet door advises patrons not to eat the urinal cakes. Wisdom indeed. BitterShurn - 4 May 2011 20:58
One of the best selections of bottled beers in Aberdeen. Always has a great variety of draught to choose from. bawbags - 3 Nov 2010 23:47
Still on top form. And I've now fathomed how top work the jukebox. Top selection of bottled beers - mostly Belgian. Definite 9. Beefheart - 3 Aug 2009 21:27
The best place in Aberdeen for cider, with Thatcher's Heritage and Addlestones available. The only 2 cask ales during our visit were Inveralmond Lia Fail and Atlas Latitude Pilsner. This is definitely a rock bar though, with some rather strange looking people - in fact I think we were the odd ones out! blue_scrumpy - 20 Mar 2009 18:42
