Good selection of local ales: Woodforde's Wherry, Adnams Best and Brandon's Rusty Bucket (which was a well kept drip). It was quiet on my visit but it was noon on Saturday and they had only just opened. Food is served but we didn't eat so can't comment on that.

I went to this pub last week and would like to commend the new young family team on the reopening of this delightful public house. Great food - (Home made deserts and home made gravy - yum!) A nice welcoming atmosphere - long may the couple reign at the helm!

This Pub is quite a distance from home, if last Friday night is anything to go by, Boy am I sad about that, toward the end of 2006, news came through that this well thought of country Pub had closed suddenly and that its future looked bleak, (As always when a Pub closes)
I had only been in a couple of times prior to my last visit, but each time it had been well worth the journey, glad to report that the same applies, choice of three real ales, all from different Breweries, intended to try all three but did'nt get past the Wherry, absolutely terrific, smashing young couple at the helm, wish them every success, gave us a warm welcome, Locals friendly, just great, I bet our friends who moved into that area last year will get fedup with us!
