Borelli's is an excellent place to eat and drink. My husband and I moved recently to the area and found this little gem by mistake and very glad we did. The owner really does an excellent job, he isn't bursting with personailty, but he does ensure that everything is 'tip top'., quietly watching what is going on and making sure that his staff are attentive and professional. The food does is excellent and the ambiance is wonderful. Borelli's we love you.

You know what? This place reminds me massively of bars in Japan from the 1980s/90. The dark decor, bar design and seating arrangement etc is what i mean.

The staff are alright but no cocktails ( when i asked for one in the round i was putting together i was stared at blankly) and it does seem to be full of craphats at the weekends?

London Pride at Borelli's is a great alternative to 'room temperature cask' especially in the warmer weather. I have always found the owner to have exceptional customer service skills and has been known to 'getonein' occasionally!

Friday and Saturday nights aside (too busy) this is not a bad place to go to have a few drinks. It's smarter than most of the other places in town and serves a good selection of wine and premium lagers. For the ale lovers amongst us there is London Pride on tap but chilled to the same temperature as the lager so don't bother. The owner also needs to work on his customer service skills. A smile costs nothing.

Go here a fair bit to eat during the week. Nice atmosphere. Food is definately good value for money...very big portions. Service has always been good and the white wine is always super chilled....lovely.
