It's not bad. Shame that they don't do football but a little cosy and friendly pub. Gets really busy on weekends.

After my experience at the Walrus, I was doubtful about this place, but my lad says it's his local, so in we went.
After standing at the bar for ten minutes, I checked to see if I was wearing camouflage gear; I wasn't, but I thought I may have become invisible, and when I walked back outside I was greeted by my companions with shouts of "Where's the beer?", I sat down to see if anyone else noticed me. Then the aforementioned lad came and asked "Where's the beer?", whereupon I indicated the open door, he went in and came back with Stella Artois. Not my favourite drink, but I had a couple, as there was no proper beer as such. Somewhat quirky place. Great atmosphere, and if they had a proper ale it would score maximum points. (It hasn't, so it didn't)

Stayed In Crowne Plaza opposite but to avoid paying £4.10 A PINT there we came here,Friendly barman but sadly no real ale (although we werent expecting any). My fosters was ok but my mate's guinness smelt of bleach! 5/10

visite recently and the barman was very friendly but served a disgusting pint of san miquel.

To be fair there is an eclectic taste in decor which seemed quite strange to me when I first walked in Hunters doors.

But the friendly atmosphere of the punters, owners and bar staff is what make this place so special.Usually I don't see the atmosphere in the high street pubs this place has loads.

A very cosmopolitan pub and very nice people.

Would recommend for all ages
