Really awful vibe in this place. Always seems dead most of the time and the staff are kinda clueless with no character. . My sister got her drink first then my friend ordered hers. The stupid girl behind the bar asked my female friend for i.d even though it's blatantly obvious she's over 18. Unfortunateley she'd forgot it as we had made the trip from Chesterfield to Lincoln to support a local band from where we live and only went into Chicago Rock while the band were doing their sound check at another pub. Apart from that she didn't think she would need it anways. Even another member of staff thought it would be ok to serve her.
I think the dimwith must have a complex about better looking females and decided to be a complete arse.

Avoid this place if you want a good night with a good atmospehere.

I've only been in there once! n being 18 it was a bit of an experiance. Altho it was a good night to b honest! the staff are very polite! and its 2 4 1 cocktails on Fridays, also Friday till 10 is Kareoke night which we had a ball with. I think even the DJ was shocked to find us in there because he gave us unlimited drink! Can't ask for more than that really! altho I wouldn't say its the place to go if ur on a proper night out, we just went for a couple of drinks n a quiet night out n ended up having a balst
