| it is possible to have a great night here, however they only come once every 6 months of visiting and with alot of alchohol involved. I used to go to the bar frequently but there are so many self-loving, posing, lunatics in there now days!! I think there are more straight chavs in there than the gay community ( which is crying out for a descent venue in Chester) The bouncers are the best, like comedians on the doors...like it. devadiva - 8 Aug 2006 17:58 |
| Obviously the place has changed somewhat since visited by the above. I found myself feeling very welcomed on both my visits to Bar 69. I did not have to wait too long to be served at the bar, and although very busy, the bar staff were polite, chatty and quite funny sometimes! I have to say, the ladies of Chester are a pretty friendly bunch too! The only thing I'd have to give a poor mark is the toilet. Very small and cramped indeed. My disabled friend had to crawl on the urine covered floor to use the toilet... not very disabled friendly really. However, that would not stop me returning there again. | this is the most welcoming bar yet its funny ,its lively, a bloody good night out its open til 2am the best entertainment in chester, very cheap alcopops ,n, beeroffers on spirits all year through this is a must if visiting chester kekek - 31 Dec 2004 17:15 |
