| This pub appears to have a new lease of life. When we visited at Easter the place was very clean and tidy with friendly staff. The beer and food were fine, but it doesn’t seem to be a drinking pub with the layout arranged predominantly for eating with a very small bar area which was very awkward to get served at if more than a couple of people were standing there.
