Ambience quite good, nicely situated. More renowned for it's food than it's beer, however, which is a shame since in my experience (two visits - won't go again) the food is vastly overrated. Upon my last visit I paid an exhorbitant £16 for a steak, half of which was fat, which was accompanied by four potato wedgies, a very small, bland helping of salad, and not a lot else. I complained and was told that it was due to the chef being "stressed out" that evening! Not recommended.
