| New licensees Sarah and Jamie (previously of the Shipwreck). Simple local pub without piped music. Various bits of merchandise to buy. Bitter £2.50 per pint and an excellent haddock, peas and chips for £7, making by far the cheapest pub in the Shotley area. They were renovating the lounge when I was there but was planned to be complete for 20/05/2012. Well worth a visit and a nice walk on a summer's day from the marina. peckerdunne - 21 May 2012 16:42 |
