Went in there 6 months ago. The palce was deserted, half of the beer was off and they had no vodka in stock. The area may not be overrun with decent pubs but most in the Fallowfield/Withington area are better than this.

I've been here a few times, but once out of choice. It disappointed me as it seems devoid of any atmosphere, but with bottles being £1.50 i may well give it one final chance.

Great if you want a pub full of out-of-town United or Liverpoo fans. Nothing wrong with being a fan of either side, but residents of Torquay? Beer is truly woeful and the clientèle would make an adult drinker choke.

absolutely devoid of atmosphere, crap beer...the only saving grace is the odd group of studey girls out for a good night out...soulless

Used to come here as a student 8-10 years ago remember a great packed garden in the summer, great for watching footie and everyone up for a laugh. Visited it again this summer on a trip to Manchester, the place was depressing. It has had a revamp that hasn't worked, the garden has been left to rot,(new furniture maybe) and it was empty and souless. i thought at first i was remembering it through pissed student tinted glasses. But no it truly is awful.
