since the new landlord has taken over, i must say that the pub has become boring and expensive. any attemps to out-do the previous landlord will be a waste of time!the atmosphere has died down terribly and no real fun has been had since the sad departure of the previous landlord.is a shame that a pub that has so much potetial has become such a sad scene!no entertainment at weekends!i am also deeply concerned to the fact that i hear it is at present being transformed into a sports bar! with viewing sceens all around.as this is a local estate pub,it isn't calling out for all members of the public.i know the majority of the population is intrested in sports, but surly it doesn't have to be all over the place!i don't think it was thought out properly at all.when you have the suffolk punch, the maypole and the man on the moon at cheeper costs, entertainment and more lively people.i wouldn't understand if it picked up much more trade.it's a diappointment in my eyes.
i no longer rate it at all!
