| It was a band night so probably not typical but to have run out of bitter by 9pm on a friday night with a band on does seem a bit slack. The apology was pretty perfunctory too. That said the Guinness was fine and the natives were (mostly) friendly. This pub hasn't suddenly leapt to the top of my favourites list but it was okay. | No longer does selection of ales, so don't bother going there unless you want Tetley from a tap (urggh)! However, v.friendly local pub - quiz nights, pool team, etc. Very spacious and good atmosphere. the omen - 27 Jun 2003 16:05 |
